Register Now for the "Treating Motor Speech Disorders" Workshop!
On Friday, June 9th, Darlene Williamson, MA, CCC-SLP, will lead a workshop titled "Treating Motor Speech Disorders: Technqiues and Tools" from 8:30am - 4:00pm at the Stroke Comeback Center. Two succesful treatment approaches will be presented: Mind Over Matter for building basic motor memory and Video Assisted Speech Technology (VAST), a program which uses video modeling for both restorative and functional motor speech production.
This activity is sponsored by the University of Maryland at its outplacement site, the Stroke Comeback Center. Application has been made to offer this activity for 0.55 ASHA CEUs for attendees who attend the full day workshop.
