To date, the vast majority of graduates of the LEAP program have transitioned successfully into mainstream kindergartens. Letters from the children's families emphasize LEAP's crucial role in developing the children's competencies to survive and prosper in a non-restricted educational setting (although some children continue to receive additional speech-language services outside of the classroom).
