The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) Young Adult Training will take place from Wednesday June, 14, 2017 to Friday June 16, 2017 at the University of Maryland, College Park. The PEERS® program is a new and updated program for young adults, particularly for college students who have a social communication disorder such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety Disorder, Depression and other social difficulties. The special focus will be on academic and social interactions, friendships, and romantic relationships. Attendees will be certified to administer PEERS® for Young Adults intervention in clinical settings. Registration has closed.

In order to receive certification as a PEERS® Young Adult Certified Provider, attendees must be a professional or graduate student in the mental health, medical, or education field with the following minimum level of training:

• A degree, certification, and/or license in the field of psychology or a related mental health field, including, but not limited to: B.C.B.A., M.S.W., L.C.S.W., M.A., M.S., M.F.T., M.D., R.N., L.V.N, Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., M.P.H., S.L.P., O.T., R.T.
• Graduate students in a mental health, medical, or education related field pursuing a master's degree or higher
• Teachers with teaching credentials or teachers pursuing teaching credentials
• Undergraduate speech-language pathology students are welcome to attend, but will not be able to receive certification

Attendees can receive continuing education units for attending this conference.
