After over 42 years of teaching, research, and service, Sandy Gordon-Salant is retiring from the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland, and we are planning a symposium in her honor. Dr. Gordon-Salant's research has had a tremendous impact on our understanding of the effects of aging on hearing, and this symposium will feature talks on age-related hearing loss presented by colleagues and students.
