Dr. Clare Gallagher is an audiologist and Assistant Clinical Professor through the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences here at UMD. A Maryland native, Dr. Gallagher earned her Doctor of Audiology degree through the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, and also holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Towson University. Her clinical background includes adult and pediatric diagnostics, fitting and management of hearing aid and osseo-integrated devices for adults, and vestibular assessments for adults as well. Dr. Gallagher also has a particular interest in community outreach, with particular focus on under-served populations who might experience barriers to accessing hearing healthcare. When she's not focused on ears, Dr. Gallagher enjoys doing just about anything outdoors, including rock climbing, hiking, birdwatching, and playing disc golf.
