Congratulations to Jan Edwards, and co-PIs Jeff Harring (HDQM), Rebecca Silverman (CHSE) and Ana Taboada Barber (CHSE), whose grant proposal "An efficacy study of Toggle Talk" has been selected for funding by the US Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences!  This is a 3.3M award to investigate the efficacy of a curriculum intended to help young children learn to shift between African American English and Mainstream American English, and is the first Goal 3 IES grant awarded to UMD.
