ABOUT THE TALK:
Infusing Diverse Perspectives into Course Design
Research supports the need for an increased focus on diversity and inclusion in higher education course development. The question remains: how can faculty integrate topics of diversity and equity authentically? Topics surrounding diversity and culture often become “add ons” and not thoroughly ingrained in the established course design or learning outcomes.
This session offers practical strategies to engage in culturally immersive course development and teaching.
