Carly is a dual Master’s/Ph.D. student in Hearing and Speech Sciences and Speech-Language Pathology, working in Dr. Ratner's Language Fluency lab. She earned her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science and a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Maryland in 2021. Her primary research interests fall within the scope of fluency and child language development, specifically the establishment of early linguistic predictors of eventual persistence or recovery status in children who stutter near onset.
