Eric C. Hoover, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland. He is the director of the Hearing Technology Laboratory, focused on improving the benefit and use of hearing aids through the study of values and the measurements used in fitting and validation.
