I recently joined the faculty of the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences in August 2018. I received my Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University with adviser Pamela Souza and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida with advisers David and Ann Eddins. The goal of my work is to develop technologies that remove barriers to communication by applying our understanding of how the auditory system represents complex acoustic environments.
